Chocolate Dome Cake Recipe

Every occasion, may it be birthday party or any other happy moment needs a desert which helps to relive the occasion. With the help of Choco Dome Cake, one can taste the same joyful essence, filled with chocolate domes. Here’s recipe to make this delicious cake:


  • 10-12 small balloons
  • 300gm Dark Chocolate Chips

For Chocolate Cake:

  • 250 gm White chocolate Chips
  • 6 Eggs
  • 1/2 Cup flour
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 180gm Butter
  • 2 egg yolks

Pan Fried Berries:

  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 50 Spiced rum
  • Pinch Salt
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 cups mixed berries

To Make Chocolate Dome Cake

  1. Inflate the balloon close to grapefruit size.
  2. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler.
  3. Dip the inflated balloon into this melted chocolate and make it stand on a silicon paper. You can refrigerate it so that it can cool down.

Steps to Prepare Cake

  1. Put butter and chocolate into the bowl and place it on double boiler.
  2. Once the mixture of step 1st is ready, add eggs in a group of two along with lemon juice. With help of mixer, mix them together on medium speed.
  3. After 1 minute, add the flour and sugar in mixture prepared in step 2nd and mix well.
  4. After another 1 minute, divide the mixture prepared in step 3rd into 4 equal aluminum ramekins and bake into preheated oven at 375° for next 10 minutes.
  5. Add the berries, lemon juice, salt and sugar into frying pan and fry until syrupy.
  6. Place the cake in plate and put some whipped cream on it. Put the dome on the top of this cake and sautéed hot berries on the side. It’s ready to be served!
